Ok, so I'm reliably informed by my Australian friends that this is a Big Deal. And I don't want to be too UK-centric.
So there was this ad from '99 featuring the above ghost children in places around the world singing an - admittedly rousing - song about how Australia is home. It advertised Qantas, which is a good airline, and made people feel fuzzy. Seems legit.
THEN, 18 years later, 2 kids (who are probably in the above shot), met doing this ad as 9-year olds, and then in their mid-20s he proposed to her at Uluru! That's kind of cool, but apparently Australians are going wild for this shit.
I haven't even told anyone I'm doing this blog, and probably never will, so I'm not sure who this is for, but there you go.
