Continuing yesterday's theme, here the excellent Shia LeBeouf - whose live-streaming art project He Will Not Divide Us involves chanting said mantra repeatedly for the duration of the Drumpf presidency - shouts down a white supremacist who whispers a Hitler / KKK reference into the camera. It's exhilarating stuff.
23rd Jan, 2017 - 11 of the Most Creative Remixes of a White Nationalist Getting Punched in the Face
This man is an actual Nazi: he uses Nazi terminology, his followers use the Nazi salute, and he openly believes in regressive Nazi ideology like the ethnic superiority of white Europeans. This has been brushed off as harmless pushing back against political correctness, but the party this man is echoing - as if we needed reminding - slaughtered millions and were responsible for countless atrocities.
So seeing him getting punched in the face is GLORIOUS.
The link above is to the original, for a number of top quality remixes, head here.

19th Jan, 2017 - As Train Bears Down, Good Samaritans Push Stuck Car Off Snowy Tracks
This headline is hilariously sensational when you watch the video, but it's still a great little moment of humans helping each other out. Just perhaps lower your expectations a degree or two.

Recent freezing temperatures in Dallas, Texas have prompted this taco shop owner - Emilia Flores - to leave this excellent sign outside her eatery. Good stuff.
17th Jan, 2017 - Farmer dances to Sia while doing chores
That's it. He's pretty good. And any puncturing of masculine norms are a good thing, as far as I'm concerned.
16th Jan, 2017 - ‘Nasty Women’ Art Shows Raise Over $50,000 For Planned Parenthood
"Nearly 700 “Nasty Women” artists teamed up to protest President-elect Donald Drumpf earlier this month, contributing to an exhibition responding to his infamous debate barb.
The show, co-organized by New York-based artist Roxanne Jackson, featured “nasty”-related works priced at $100 or less ― all of which were sold to benefit Planned Parenthood. The pieces were on view from Jan. 12 through Jan. 15, at Queens’ Knockdown Center, and, over the course of three days, sold out, raising $42,500, according to Jackson. "

A couple who missed the last train due to being hammered were freezing on the street when Joey (not pictured), a homeless man, offered them his coat and duvet. Their response is actually really sweet, and you should read it. Yer a good egg, Charlotte.

9th Jan, 2017 - Prisoners doing Shakespeare
This is great. An initiative in a Californian prison has inmates rehearsing and performing Shakespeare plays, as a way of bonding and giving back and getting something out of these plays all about vengeance, betrayal, and other huge themes.
One guy becomes a proper actor off the back of it.
8th Jan, 2017 - Boy grows his hair for 2 years to donate to friend
As a long-haired man who has on more than one occasion been mistaken for a woman, I particularly enjoyed this story: this bad-ass 12 year old who grew his hair for 2 years to donate to his friend with alopecia. Don't bother with the video. American news reporting is the WORST.

One of those situations where the title says most of what you need to know. Rakesh Shukla spends 3-4 days a week a farm, taking care of an inordinate number of pooches. On ya.
